I was given a bar of Purex Fels-Naptha to review. I've seen the laundry bars in the store before,but had no clue exactly what they were used for until doing this review. It's really a great product,that in my opinion gets overlooked.
My daughter came in the house after running around outside in just her socks. I did exactly as the directions said..Wet the bar,rub on the spot,wait five mins. and wash. It also states that you can grate the bar and put some of it in the washer as a stain booster. I did both!I was extremely surprised when I went to put the clothes in the dryer. The grass stains were no longer on her socks,and they were no longer black! Yay! I will be buying more laundry bars in the near future.

Betty Crocker Gluten Free Banana Bread Review and Giveaway!!

As you may or may not know my daughter has celiac disease,so she can't have any gluten.I've purchased Betty Crocker gluten free cake mix,cookies and brownies numerous times. I recently learned about the Betty Crocker gluten free banana bread recipe,so I decided to try it out.I couldn't believe how easy the recipe was.Who would've thought that using Betty Crocker gluten free yellow cake mix could be used to make banana bread?!

Ingredients
1 box Betty Crocker® Gluten Free yellow cake mix
1 cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 medium)
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 eggs
1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired (I didn't use nuts,but wish I had)

I didn't use nuts because my daughter doesn't like them.Either way,the banana bread was delicious! I'll be making it again in the near future.It was moist,and didn't fall apart or get crmbly like alot of other gluten free products do.
